Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue.
Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings, Deposits & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received and written confirmation from Mr & Mrs Bar Company.
Deposits must be paid by bank transfer.
The balance of a booking must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the event. If paying via bank transfer, funds must clear by this time, and a receipt must be provided to mrmrsbarcompany@gmail.com.
Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding the deposit), at our discretion.
Cancellations made within 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
Once a booking deposit has been paid, we will unfortunately not accept a significant reduction in guest numbers. We can accept group increases with an appropriate amount of notice given to us.
Drink selections cannot be changed within 7 days of the event.
Mr & Mrs Bar Company will not be liable for cancellations or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to weather, accidents, venue restrictions, or supply interruptions). In such cases, the Client remains liable for any hire charges already incurred.
In the instance where the event is cancelled – we will make your booking deposit a valid credit against another booking made by the exact same Payee.
If the date is available.
This next booking must be strictly made within 6 months from the date the funds were received from the original cancelled booking.
We reserve the right to refuse the new proposed date if our services are already booked in by other clients.
Regardless of circumstances, we do not refund booking deposits or total/full amounts paid.
Should the customer not wish to book in another date within 6 months from the initial booking deposit received date, the booking deposit paid will not be refunded.
Access Requirements
Equipment cannot be unloaded or left on the street, including in CBD or high-traffic areas. A safe and legal loading area must be provided by the Client or venue.
The Client must ensure a suitable loading dock or loading zone is available with at least 30 minutes clear access for delivery and collection.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery requires ground-level, direct access with no obstacles, narrow doorways, steep inclines, or long carries.
The Client is responsible for confirming with the venue that adequate delivery access is available.
Equipment Responsibility & Damage
All equipment (including glassware, bar setups, and accessories) remain the property of Mr & Mrs Bar Company.
All Glassware will incur a bond of $100. On completion of the event and all glassware has been returned, the bond will be returned to the host/organiser(s).
Should any damages, or breakages should occur to the catering equipment, including glassware, platters or any other equipment, the cost of the replacing broken, stolen or lost item will be invoiced to the host/organiser(s).
The fee for broken/missing glasses, is $5 per glass.
All invoices for repair or replacement must be paid within 7 days. Overdue amounts may attract interest at 10% per annum or the maximum rate permitted by law, plus any debt recovery costs incurred.
Alcohol & RSA Compliance
Mr & Mrs Bar Company operates in accordance with the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation; Liquor Licence No. 36175235.
The Client must be at least 18 years of age and provide valid photo ID.
Where bartending services are provided, Mr & Mrs Bar Company staff will follow Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements, including refusing service to intoxicated or underage persons.
Mr & Mrs Bar Company reserves the right to cease service if conditions are unsafe or unlawful. No refunds apply in such circumstances.
No refund or compensation will be given where service is refused or stopped in accordance with RSA requirements.
Mr & Mrs Bar Company is not liable for any breach of liquor laws where alcohol is supplied, served, or consumed outside of its direct service.
Liability & Insurance
Mr & Mrs Bar Company will use all reasonable care to provide safe, working equipment and services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Mr & Mrs Bar Company’s liability is limited to the total hire or service fees paid; and
Mr & Mrs Bar Company will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, business interruption, or reputational damage).
The Client indemnifies Mr & Mrs Bar Company against all claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse of equipment, breach of these terms, or the actions of the Client and guests.
Adherence to Laws
The Client and its guests are not permitted to provide beverages or related equipment without prior arrangement with Mr & Mrs Bar Company.
If the function is not in a private home or space, the Client must ensure that an area will be set aside for the exclusive use of the persons who have booked the function and is attended only by the Client and its guests; (b) If the Client causes us to contravene or breach any of the terms of its licences or any other laws or regulations, the Client must indemnify Mr & Mrs Bar Company for any damage, fines, penalties or costs we incur including damage or economic loss related to any loss of Our licences or breach of regulations or laws.
Product Availability
If due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide the agreed beverages and/or services, Mr & Mrs Bar Company reserves the right the adapt these in consultation with the client.
Beverage Service and Time-Extensions
A time-extension is approved at Mr & Mrs Bar Company’s discretion, and if our Staff are able to extend.
A limit of 3 hours for an extension at $600 per hour.
We follow the National Alcohol Beverage Industries Council guidelines on the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
We recommend that the Client considers and arranges security for their functions (of at least 1 security provider for every 100 attendees).
The Wedding Edit package service time is inclusive of any ceremony or other timeframes taken during the bar service time quoted.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted on our Website with the revised effective date.
Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
